PMU Info (Please Read)

"Things You should know prior to your appointment"

* Permanent makeup procedures are affected by the canvas (your skin) that they

are performed on. If your skin is sun damaged (even from tanning beds), thick and uneven in texture, or excessively dry or oily, the result cannot be expected to be perfect after the initial procedure.  Lifestyle,  medications,  smoking,  metabolism,  facial surgery and age of skin

all contribute to fading.*

Pre Procedure:

Avoid any Alcoholic beverages, Coffee, Tea, Soda, Energy drinks, Multi vitamins, Fish oil, Advil, Ibuprofen, Aspirin and any blood thinners. Blood thinners can cause unnecessary bleeding during your permanent makeup procedure.

Have your contact lenses removed and wear glasses the day of your eyeliner procedure and continue using the glasses up to 7 days after your procedure.

If you are planning to have eyeliner procedure done please have your lash extensions removed for the procedure.

If you are knowingly under any influence of alcohol, drugs or medication (I.e Prozac, Xanax, Valium, Prednisone...) you will be rescheduled and will charged a $100 missed appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Shasha will not work on you If you are Pregnant or Nursing or trying to get pregnant.

Stop using any products that contain Retin-A, Glycol or Alpha-Hydroxy Acids or exfoliant  3 weeks prior to your appointment.

For the best result please have your fillers and injections done 3 weeks before your procedure.

If you are pre-menstrual or on your period you will be more pain sensitive.

Try to plan your procedure so it does  not fall at this point of your monthly cycle.

If you have any medical condition(s) or are taking any prescribed medication, you must         let Shasha knows and consult with your physician and obtain a written consent to get permanent makeup done.

If you are planning a lip color procedure and have ever experienced a cold sore, even one time in your life, it is recommended you obtain a prescribed anti-viral medication (Valtrex 2000 mg).

If you come to your appointment without the prescription, your procedure will be rescheduled and you will be charged a $100 missed appointment. Please call Shasha for more information.

If you are having your eyeliner done, you should consider having someone drive you to the office as you may experience watery eyes, which is perfectly normal, but may have blurry vision.

If you had Chemotherapy you Radiation done, you need to wait 6 month before having any permanent makeup done.

If you have any upcoming surgery you need to let Shasha knows by call or text at

(919) 637-9336.

If there are any blemishes, pimples, active cold sores, irritation on the skin of any kind, moles or other skin imperfections in or around the area of the procedure, Shasha will not be able to do the procedure until the blemish or area of concern is gone. If you show up to the appointment and there is an area of concern you will be rescheduled and forfeit your deposit. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Touch ups will be required to restore fading colors. It is difficult to predict exactly how long the permanent makeup will last since it depends greatly on the client’s skin type and  lifestyle. Expect your permanent makeup to last anywhere between one and five years before it shows signs of fading.

After Procedure:

Failure to follow post treatment instructions may cause loss of pigment, discoloration or infection. More customized after care direction will be giving to our clients after their procedure.

No direct sun or tanning beds. No Retin-A on your forehead or around eyes.
